FAQ

Common problems with valves mainly include leakage, blockage, jamming, insensitive operation, loud noise, air leakage, wear and tear, etc

Leakage: This is one of the most common faults of valves, manifested as the leakage of medium from the sealing part of the valve. The reasons for leakage may include aging of the packing, insufficient clamping force of the gasket, rough joint surface, etc. The solution includes replacing the appropriate packing, adjusting the clamping force of the gasket, and repairing the joint surface. Blockage: The control channel is blocked by debris, causing the valve to fail to open or close properly. This is usually due to the small size of the channel and the presence of many impurities in the fluid. The solution includes cleaning the debris in the channel to ensure the cleanliness of the fluid. Stuck: Valve components are stuck in a fixed position due to rust stains or other reasons and cannot move. For example, the piston is stuck at the highest position due to rust stains and cannot open the main channel. The solution includes lubricating components, cleaning rust stains, etc. Insensitive operation: Slow response or inaccurate action when operating valves. It may be due to component wear, deformation, or insufficient lubrication. The solution includes replacing worn parts, adjusting lubrication status, etc. Loud noise: The valve produces abnormally loud noise during operation, which may be due to loose components, excessive medium flow rate, or internal structural damage. The solution includes fixing loose parts, reducing flow rate, inspecting and tightening internal components, etc. Leakage: The valve cannot be completely sealed, resulting in unstable system pressure. The solution includes readjusting the sealing surface, replacing the sealing ring, etc. Wear and tear: The internal components of the valve have worn out over long-term use, resulting in an inability to close tightly. The solution includes replacing worn parts and performing necessary repairs.
