LNG
Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) refers to natural gas that has been cooled to a liquid state through cryogenic technology, significantly reducing its volume for easier long-distance transportation and storage. The LNG value chain typically includes natural gas extraction, processing, liquefaction, storage and transportation, regasification, and terminal distribution. The liquefaction process can reduce the volume of natural gas by approximately 600 times, greatly lowering transportation costs. LNG plays a vital role in energy supply, cross-regional trade, and emergency reserves, and is widely used in power generation, industrial fuel, and residential energy due to its clean combustion and low carbon emissions.
